A 22 days old newborn baby boy who is apparently been abandoned by his teenage mother in the Nampula Central Hospital is taken back to his mother.
The child did not even cry or make any body movement after he has been delivered. The teenage mother and her sister left the infirmary and returned to Muecate without asking the team on the duty the condition of the newborn baby. They thought the baby won’t survive.
The baby then immediately admitted to the pediatrics department neonatal service where he recovered from his condition.
After then Victoria named a baby, and she said she did this to take care of this baby as her duty. She named a new baby born a Adriel da Cristina because she thought he is abandoned and she came as a godmother to him.
The social service having successfully implemented their social action communication strategies to alert the mother about her son. And it is reported that the mother successfully recovered the baby.
