According to the witnesses, the fire that broke out at the China Garden Restaurant along old Europa road in Lesotho; was mainly caused by a suspected gas leak which was not recognized.
The business closed few years ago and turned into the residential place for the Chinese who are working around the town of Maseru. The Chinese took the responsibility of that place because they are living there and separated to Basotho, so everything will relate to them as they know.
A witnessed security guard saw the fire broke out as he was outside of the building patrolling. A guard heard from his colleague that some Chinese was cooking with the gas stove, it is suspected that the gas has caused the fire because nothing can be suspected rather than that gas which is very risky and dangerous.
