The African National Congress (ANC) interim Provincial Committee (IPC), in the North West, has selected five members to step aside
The members includes in Tsetse Village Outside Mahikeng are implicated along with the other 11 serious charges including murder. One of them includes the branch secretary, while the other are senior government officials.

Hlomane Chauke , the Provincial Coordinator for the ANC IPC stated that the five accused members have already been alerted with letters informing them to step aside. And the letter does not want their explanations but command them to step aside and shall speak in the court.
“In terms of the resolution of the conference and guidelines we have already communicated with the five comrades that they need to step aside from the ANC. so we have communicated with them in terms of rule 25.7 that they need to step immediately” Chauke said.
Yesterday the South African communist Party (SACP) in Limpopo has urged all ANC member affected by the step aside resolution to comply.
