It is reported that Colonel Jabulani Ndawonde from the Ndwedwe police station, north of Durban, was shot at the Bhamshela Taxi Rank on his way home on Monday night.
This is also confirmed by the KwaZulu –Natal police that one of them, their local station commander has been shot and dead. The cause of kill is still under the investigation and the media is still looking forward to hear more on the cause of death.
Police Spokesperson Thembeka Mbhele said is believed that Ndawonde was driving a state owed vehicle when he was overtaken by another unrecognized motor vehicle and shot the commander.
People are shocked by the incident because it is horrible, but police are working hard to find those who committed the crime.
