American radio host, Matty Siegel stormed off his own ‘Matty in the Morning ‘show after being told to shut up and cut cracking jokes about Demi Lovato’s non-binary pronouns on Wednesday morning.
“I’m the biggest of all time, and they said, ‘Shut up Matt! Stop talking, well I hope you are happy because I stopped talking.” Siegel said on air
The host was addressing Demi Lovato’s revelation that they are non-binary and that they will be going with pronouns ‘they’ and ‘them’. Binary means that they do not identify as neither male or female.
“I feel that this best represents the fluidity I feel in my gender expression, and allows me to feel most authentic and true to the person I know I am and am still discovering.” Said Demi
She posted a video on twitter on Wednesday. She explained that her revelation is for those who have not found the courage to express their true selves.
Matty apparently went back to work on Thursday and claimed his boss called him back when he said he wanted to quit.
