The Zulu Royal family has been thrown into succession turmoil’s ever since the late King, Goodwill Zwelithini and his Wife Queen Mantfombi MaDlamini-Zulu passed away months back.
The largest monarchy in South Africa has been thrown off balance since them. King Goodwill Zwelithini’s first Wife and two daughters are challenging the late king’s will and are set to appear in court in to resolve the issue.
The late Queen Montfombi succeeded her husband after his death but unfortunately did not live long enough to even serve a full month in office. The first wife Queen of King Goodwill has challenged his will by filing that she be given 50% of the King’s estate becaujse they were married in civil law.
The Queen contested the contents of the will as she believes clashes with the terms of her civil marriage. The court is yet to give a ruling on the issue as it adjourned without a hearing date on Friday.
