While speaking at the launch of Drone Technology Centre and training at Notwane Farms, Vice President Slumber Tsogwane emphasized that Botswana should embrace technology in order to achieve its Developmental Objectives.
Furthermore, Tsogwane said that the use of drones has now become a key component of every Motswana’s life, adding that a world where movement efficiency is key, drones are playing a critical logistics part in that regard.
Assistant Managing Director at the Drone Technology Centre Marang Mbaakanyi supported the same sentiments when saying that this technology will help Botswana turn into a Knowledge-Based Economy.
She said that this technology will help the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development to track the YDF projects.
